I like Bebop and Champloo. I am apparently better versed in Anime than I thought. Although I am apparently the only kid to not like FLCL. Mine friends give me crap all the time.

Two can play at this game! Except off the top of my head I can think only two anime that are yaoi D:

Heres a list of my favourite anime's

Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade
Akira
Ghost in the shell
Final Fantasy VII Advent Children (it's really good if you were in to FF as a kid)
Karas (as i mentioned before, its really worth checking out, theres only 6 episodes i think but its totally worth it)
Gunslinger girls (good if you like the deep stuff, but its not all about hormonal 12 year olds.. theres hella cool action its always worth checking out)
Gundam (its huge so i found it hard to get into it properly but its also worth checking out)

I've heard good things about bleach, everybody has recommended it so i guess im gonna check it out some time soon

Yeah, uhhh.

Noir. Probably one of the most underrated animes ever, the series is a bit slow at the start but compensates later on. Excellent plot too.

Just a heads up folks, a new season started. Here's what you can expect:

I might check out the new season of Shikabane Hime since the first one started getting good in the last few episodes. Birdy the mighty looks nice if I can ever catch up with season 1. Afro Samurai RESURRECTION looks kick ass. Can't wait for the 2nd OAV of Seto no Hanayome and Ride Back looks like it might be an interesting show to watch. Good upcoming season over all.

well naruto is nice, but please watch japanese with subtitle.
the eglish one is made for kids, they cut some peices out of the original and the blood is gone.

also i like .hack//sign a lot.
its about an mmorpg, but in the future so its like you are in the game, virtual reality like.
but a kid wakes up and discovers he can't logout anymore.
should be fun for all you GW addicted people.
its a slow anime, it relies more on character development than brute action, so you need to like that kind of stuff.
its like an psycho thriller combined with GW and stuffed in an anime.

some other nice anime's are wolfs rain, bleach and death note.
there is an movie of the last one, and its not an animation movie but with real actors.

Three live-action Deathnote movies actually with a US remake in the works. (cringe) Now that I think about it, what happened to the prequel spin off series (not movie) featuring just L?

Since School Days aired, blood is gone from almost everything.

As for the upcoming winter, the new seasons of Minami-ke, Tower of Druaga(parody of MMO animes), Birdy and Seto are on my watchlists. Kurokami also has promise, with a similar premise to Birdy, though much darker.

Btw, subs of Hellsing Ultimate V are out, pretty decent translations too. Can't wait for the next one. Anyone catch the end of its manga run, too?
